Post-operative care for the equine athlete is an integral part of recovery, and often the key to a successful long-term outcome. At Jamie Vet Clinic, we communicate directly with the referring surgical center to develop a specific recovery plan for each horse. From wound care to colic surgery or castration, we area able to offer the same level of care provided by the best surgery centers.

Dr. Jamie’s extensive background in veterinary medicine gives our clients access to a high degree of proficiency in a wide range of surgical and post-surgical services, including patients recovering from disorders of the abdomen, soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, reproductive surgeries, upper airway procedures, or laceration repair. Additionally, with Dr. Jamie on-site 24-7, we are able to monitor each horse’s daily progress with a veterinarian’s eye, and adjust the recovery and rehab protocol accordingly.
